I like to give myself a good challenge.
One day I saw a lady on Tiktok explain how she does a challenge each week. If the challenge enhances her well-being, she keeps it. I’ve taken this approach and have gained some new additions to my routines.
A few habits I’ve picked up over the last few weeks:
- Tongue scraping
- 10 minute breathwork
- Reading for at least 30 minutes a day (it’s usually more)
- No social media Sunday’s
However, my recent challenge will be the longest yet. I’m committing 90 days of following my pleasure.
I’m sure you’re thinking…what does that even look like? Or maybe you’re thinking…who has time for that?
I’ve spent the last year making time for the things that are important and enjoyable. This challenge is just a deeper dive into that curiosity.
The fun part about this is, I’ve created a private podcast to document the journey. Not only will I be able to hold myself accountable with my daily recordings, you get to challenge yourself as well.
The Pleasure Zone is 90 days of intentionally following our pleasure. Now, where you find your pleasure and where I find mine might be different.
There are a few places that activate within my body when something is a yes, not just a yes…but a HELL YES!!! The first is my gut (also known as my sacral chakra), the second is my clit (listen, you can’t judge if you haven’t paid attention to her), and lastly is my chest (there is this swelling, swirling feeling that happens).
