In no way am I ashamed to say that I masturbate. It is something I’ve been doing for years and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon. Over the past few months I can admit, the frequency has definitely picked up. Honestly, it’s probably become a part of my daily routine…self care right!!! And being completely transparent…I’m not having sex right now so this is the next best thing (post for a later date).
Never understood why people were so embarrassed about masturbating. I get it, I get it…it’s frowned upon sometimes in the religious arenas, but come on it feels great. - Helps me go to sleep
I’ll tell you when masturbation helps me the most…Sunday nights. For some reason I have the hardest time falling asleep and I just lay in the bed staring at the ceiling. While listening to a podcast I heard that this lady masturbates every night just to go to sleep. I figured, why not, if sex can put me to sleep why night a little self love. So right…slept like a baby.
- I’m not having sex
So I haven’t had sex in….it’s probably been over 6 months now. This is by choice, the relationship is rocky and I have a good bit of body image confidence to work on as well.
